The MT is based on magnetic field
created on the piece to be tested.
The magnetic field can be created
by direct or indirect magnetization.

is an NDT
method used
to locate
surface-
breaking
defects. The fluid penetrate in the
discontinuities for capillary action.
Dye penetrant liquids can be color
contrast or fluorescent. In the
second case a UV lamp is used
for the inspection.
